- MacBook Air warrants new airport screening policy
The Apple MacBook Air looks so radically different under airport x-ray machines, that people were actually getting hassled while going through security. In fact, they are so different (whereas 99 percent of laptops look nearly identical) that the TSA has taken pictures of the x-rays and sent them out to all of their 46,000 employees so they will be more familiar with what the Macbook Air looks like. Seriously.

I hope this is real. The Beatles might finally be on itunes. Check out the story here.

Apple announced yesterday that they were creating an iFund initiative that made available $100M in venture capital to help companies make new apps for the iPhone.
This either means that there are going to be a few kick-ass apps made by companies taking advantage of the opportunity. Or, it means there are going to be whole bunch of crappy iPhones apps made by companies taking advantage of the opportunity.
- Time Machine works well
An interesting write up about Apple’s new Time Machine wireless hard drive.
How often do you refuse to connect the USB to your backup drive because it would hamper your style? How often are you afraid, after a long period of not backing up, of the time it may take you to perform a backup. Those issues go away with Time Capsule.
I think I might just have to buy one of those.
